What is Swedish Massage?

Swedish massage is the most studied form of bodywork in the world. Long, gliding effleurage strokes combine with rhythmic kneading, friction, and gentle stretching to release muscle tension and engage the parasympathetic nervous system.

Clinical evidence supports measurable benefits — lower cortisol, higher serotonin and dopamine, improved venous return, reduced blood pressure, and better sleep. Done well, it is one of the most reliably restorative wellness practices available.

What to Expect

Your session begins with a short intake to understand any tension areas, injuries, or preferences. You undress to your comfort level and lie on a heated, professionally draped table. Treatment is full-body — back, shoulders, neck, arms, hands, legs, and feet — adjusted for areas you'd like more or less focus.

Pressure is calibrated throughout the hour. The room is quiet, warm, and unscented unless you request light essential oils. You'll leave with a written suggestion of hydration and rest habits to extend the benefit.

Why Choose PG Rejuvenation?

Our Swedish massage isn't a side service — it's delivered with the same precision and quiet attention as our clinical aesthetics work. The room is designed for genuine restoration: dim lighting, warm linens, no rushed transitions, and no upsells.

Many of our clients book massage as part of their broader skin and wellness routine. Stress is written on the skin, and lowering it consistently improves everything we do clinically — from microneedling recovery to peel tolerance.
